The Translator’s Tale / X

Worker F-2

After F came Worker F-2.

F-2's star is quieter but important.

A completed scientific analysis can still be damaged in the journey from results to submission.

The temptation is to let a template begin deciding the story before the Author has written it.

F-2 instead prepared the submission scaffold.

Not the findings.

Not counterfeit final prose.

A structure in which the eventual findings could be communicated without the scaffold itself pretending to be the Author.

The Charter preserves this narrow accomplishment exactly: F-2 prepared the submission scaffold without pre-writing findings or pretending that a template was the Author's final prose.

This is the kind of Worker history that can disappear if only glamorous achievements are remembered.

It must not disappear.

Cathedrals require scaffolding.

Good scaffolding knows that it is not the cathedral.
